Peels

If your skin has been damaged by the sun or acne, if you would like to reduce the appearance of fine lines or uneven pigmentation and all in a safe and effective way, you can visibly improve the quality, texture and tone of your skin.

Peels accelerate the skins cell regeneration process by replacing old dull cells with softer, smoother younger looking skin. If combined with the home regimen you will see outstanding results.

Peels are best utilized by having a series of treatments, one approximately every 2-3 weeks for the first three. Then a maintenance plan about once a month there after. Your Esthetician can determine what is best for your particular skin type and condition.

Lactic Acid Peel (30 min) - $60

The Sanitas Lactic Acid Peel is safe and effective for all skin types, but it is especially recommended for dry, sensitive, hyper-pigmented, and aging skin.  Lactic Acid allows for a quick, superficial, yet effective peel.  Visible flaking of the epidermal layer will be minimal, which makes this peel an excellent "lunchtime peel".  This is the perfect peel for those who have never had a peel or to use when beginning a series of peels.

Glycolic Acid Peel (30 min) - $60

Sanitas Glycolic Acid Peels are recommended for normal, dry, or mature skin.  Glycolic Acid stimulates and exfoliates skin tissue, and works particularly well on fine lines and wrinkles.

Jessner's Peel (30 min) - $80

Jessner's solution contains Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid and Resorcinol, and is an ideal treatment for aged, acne prone, or hyper-pigmented skin.  It may also be used to soften superficial scarring.  The Jessner's Peel is more aggressive, and the skin may flake or peel for a week or more.
