Acupuncture Services and Price List 

Ask the practitioner about the estimated number of treatments needed and how much each treatment will cost. Some insurance companies may cover the costs of acupuncture, while others may not. It is important to check with your insurer before you start treatment to see whether acupuncture is covered for your condition and, if so, to what extent.

Pure Acupuncture

During your initial visit, your practitioner will guide you through a thorough health history review to help him or her pinpoint which health systems are in need of attention.  This 25 minute exam is necessary to diagnose the root of the imbalance. Your practitioner will then evaluate your tongue and pulse to obtain a proper diagnosis.  Although these techniques may seem strange at first, they are classic Chinese Medical diagnostic tools that provide essential information for your practitioner.  Once a diagnosis has been made, a treatment will follow.

 During your follow-up visits, you will be asked a few brief questions, your tongue and pulse will again be taken, and then treatment will follow.  Acupuncture sessions may include a variety of techniques such as electical stimulation, cupping, gua sha, auricular treatment, tui na massage, and an herbal evaluation with prescription.

Best of Both Worlds    

1/2 Hour Acupuncture followed by 1/2 Hour Massage     $65   

If you are in need of the therapuetic action of acupuncture but also desire the relaxation that massage can provide, then this is the package for you.  This combination acupuncture/massage package is designed to provide muskuloskeletal pain relief with a 1/2 hour acupuncture treatment followed by 1/2 hour of rejuvenating massage.

This holistic, non-invasive approach to anti-aging actually builds new collagen and elastin in the skin, resulting in younger, firmer, more supple and radiant looking skin and a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  Because it takes 5 weeks for the collagen and elastin to develope a permanent result, 2 treatments a week for 5 weeks are highly recommended for optimal results. 

Cupping for Pain Relief, Injury and Cold/Flu Treatment

Chinese cupping is a time honored and effective treatment that uses glass cups applied to the body at specific regions to promote blood circulation to the intended areas. This helps to relieve stagnation of the body tissue with the intent of relieving pain and encouraging healing. It works fantastic for both chronic or acute pain & injury.

Cupping is also a great way to help eliminate cold and flu bugs. The cups are applied to the back and the chest to activate the respiratory and circulatory systems, aiding the body's natural defense mechanisms.

Auricular/Acupuncture  1/2 Hour Mini Treatment

Auricular acupuncture is a treatment method that utilizes a microsystem that is representative of the entire body. For instance, a microsystem uses one aspect of the body such as the ears, the eye or feet - to treat conditions that may be present anywhere in the body.

For this simple treatment, you will have a brief consultation with your practitioner and then he/she will insert very small & fine needles into the ear at specific points. Body Needles will be used to support the auricular treatment. Ear acupunture is especially useful for addictions, emotional disorders such as stress, depression or anxiety, and pain management.

Mini treatments are recommended for established patients who already have a treatment regimen that is familiar to their acupuncturist.  The initial consultation and treatment are a prerequisite to receive mini treatments.

Professional Herbal Consultation & Prescription

If you are searching for a safe, natural and effective method to alleviate your ailments, then an herbal consultation and prescription from a qualified, professional Chinese Herbalist is what you need!  During this half hour session, your practitioner will guide you through a health survey to pinpoint exactly what systems are in need of rebalance. You will then be provided with your choice of either a custom powder formula or a patented pill that will address the root of your disorder as well as alleviate the symptoms.
